Fossil fuel

Fossil fuel is a non-renewable resource formed under millions of years from the remains of dead plats and animals and the known viable reserves are being depleted much faster than new ones are being made. The burning of fossil fuel is the largest source of emissions of carbon dioxide and directly contributes to global warming.

No fossil fuel is being used as a source of energy or electricity in the production process of pulp and paper.
